Upon learning about families and children affected by natural disasters across the world, Megan, from The Wizard Rockumentary, and Mark, from Marked As His Equal, decided they wanted to help. Megan and Mark created From Beneath These Ashes, a 2-disc Wizard Rock compilation featuring over 30 Wizard Rock bands, and spanning both “light” and “dark” themes.
All of the proceeds from the compilation will go to Save the Children, “the leading independent organization creating lasting change in the lives of children in need in the United States and around the world.” Save the Children continues to help children and families who have been affected by disasters in our country, like hurricane relief in the Gulf Coast, and all over the world, such as the cyclones in Myanmar.
From Beneath These Ashes features previously unreleased songs from The Remus Lupins, Catchlove, House of Black, Draco and the Malfoys, and many other awesome Wizard Rock bands. There will be a limited run of hard copy CDs, so don’t forget to preorder! After the hard copies have run out, the compilation will remain online for purchase to continue raising funds.
