@badger666 Perhaps, the site has gone a month without a post before though — in August 2006 and August 2008. So, it forms a pattern for them not to, being in August 2010 now.

If Kloves is writing it, Hermione will probably end up killing Voldemort…

I would like after Dobby’s burial, because I would really enjoy the last movie being entirely taking place on one day. However, I’m not sure they could fit everything before Dobby’s death into the first one. I think being taken by the snatchers, or after Ron kills the locket dealie as being likely choices. Don’t forget all the shit that has to happen even before the locket – the ministry falling, the trio sneaking into the MoM, Ron leaving, Godric’s Hollow, snake lady, the silver doe, Ron returning.

I think that would be a great place, too… But honestly, with Kloves’ return as screenwriter with HBP, does anyone really think that any characters who AREN’T the Trio, Snape, or Dumbledore will get anything other than a superficial treatment? I sure don’t. Look how Luna was wasted in the last one…

Well, I’m leaving for Infinitus tomorrow… and it’s my first con ! So I don’t really know yet. But I think what’s great about cons is that you get to meet people who like the same thing as you.

@Clare and Andrew: There By My Side was available as a free download once upon a time – look through the OBatR MySpace blogs and there might still be a working link. It’s also available as a bonus track on the Bare Bones EP.

As song that comes to mind for me is Home by The Remus Lupins. It puts Remus’ decision to leave Tonks in a slightly more redeeming light, and whether or not it completely agrees with canon, it’s nice hearing the story from that perspective. (On the other hand, Tonks and the Aurors have several songs that make Remus leaving feel more upsetting than ever. Sigh.)
